1	Customer Information Captum Capital Limited ("Captum") may collect, store and use the following kinds of information realting to its customers: a. information that you provide to us for subscribing to our newsletter, including your email address, name, organisation, and country b. information that you provide to us for registering for one of our events, and to allow us to invoice you for any fees due, including your name, email address, telephone and fax numbers, organisation, address, and country c. we do not collect or store information about your computer and visits to our web site www.captum.com, but we may view such information using Google Analytics, or similar website analytic tools d. any other information you may choose to send to us
2	Cookies Captum does not use cookies as part of customer interactions with our websites. We do use Google Analytics to to analyse the use of our websites. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about our websites using cookies which are stored on users computers. Captum does not have access to this information except as aggregate statistical data.
3	Use of Information Captum uses information it holds about its customers for the following purposes: a. to send email announcements about our events, other activities and news items which may be of interest to you; you may unsubscribe from such emails at any time by use of a link on the email or by advising us b. to invoce you for fees due for attending one of our events and to allow us to collect payments due c. to allow us to improve our newsletters and events by analysing information held about our customers, such as whether they are comemrcial organisations, service companies, or not-for-profit organisations d. Captum does not give, sell or otherwise disclose information on our customers to third parties unless you have specifically authorised us to do so, for example for the purpose of obtaining CPD points
4	Credit Cards Captum does not itself collect, store or process credit card information from customers: a. Event registration payment by credit cards is processed by RegOnline, a service provided by The Active Network, Inc., San Diego CA, USA. RegOnline is certified as a PCI Level 1 compliant service provider, the highest level of security usually associated with banks and other financial institutions. RegOnline will store customers credit card information for 90 days, after which time it will only store the last 4 digits of a credit card number. RegOnline's credit card security policies can be viewed here b. Credit card transactions are processed by PayPal. PayPal's privacy policy can vbe viewed at www.paypal.com. Captum only shares customer information with PayPal to the extent necessary to process payments and deal with queries relating to such payments.
5	Security Captum will take all reasonable necessary steps to ensure that customers's information is secure against loss, misuse or alteration. This includes the installation of firewalls on our websites and industry standard virus protection. Captum's websites contain links to third party websites. Captum is not responsible for the privacy policies, or security of third party websites.
6	Opting Out and Updating a.If at anytime you no longer want us to send you any regular communications, you may “opt-out” of such future communications by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletter or email or you may ask us by email, telephone or mail. b. You may update the information we hold on you at any time by clcking on "Change Profile" link at the bottom of email newsletters from us. You may also advise of any updates to information by email. mail or telephone.
7	Data Controller Captum complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and is registered with the Information Controllers Office. The data controller is Captum Capital Limited.
